For creators Ronnie Lee, Raphael Ouellet, and Emily D’Alessio, Saltrose is the next chapter of offerings many Tofino visitors already know and love. The team introduced the Beach Shack café at Pacific Sands in 2023 and also operates Taste of Tofino Catering, a long-standing local catering company known for weddings and gatherings throughout the region. Saltrose expands their presence into a shared dining space intended as much for the community as for resort guests.
Saltrose is a beachside restaurant at Pacific Sands Beach Resort on Cox Bay in Tofino, British Columbia. Run by the team behind the resort’s Beach Shack café and Taste of Tofino Catering, Saltrose provides a relaxed space where guests and locals can gather for a full meal after a day outdoors. The restaurant features wood-fired coastal comfort food and shareable dishes in a casual, family-friendly setting.
Its always been about enjoying time together, wether thats over a plate of food, a cold margarita or listening to live music. We think community is the foundation of this town we call home, and if you can have it with quality food, drinks and a view like we have at Pacific Sands!? Then hell, we must be doing something right!
